In a dominant performance, Gujarat Titans (GT) secured a commanding 58-run victory over Rajasthan Royals (RR) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, continuing their strong momentum in IPL 2025. GT’s victory was built on a solid all-round effort, with their bowlers playing a key role in restricting RR to 159 after posting a challenging 217/6 in the first innings.
The match was a standout for GT’s bowling attack, which saw several players rise in the Purple Cap standings. Left-arm spinner R Sai Kishore, with a brilliant two-wicket haul, jumped to second place on the leaderboard, taking his total to 10 wickets for the season. Just ahead of him is Chennai Super Kings’ Noor Ahmad, who retains the top spot.
